HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Aug. 19, 2026) Aviation & Missile Solutions (AMS) announced the promotions of Leah Ann Williams to human resources director and Magen Honey to enterprise controller.
These promotions align with AMS’ recently announced executive leadership appointments and reinforce the company’s commitment to building a strong operational and financial leadership team.

Leah Ann Williams, Human Resources Director
As human resources director, Williams oversees AMS’ talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management and other HR initiatives. She is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that support the company’s goals while fostering a culture centered on employee engagement.
Williams joined AMS in 2022 as a senior principal human resources specialist and was later promoted to assistant human resources director. She brings more than 20 years of experience supporting government contractors in compensation strategy, technology implementation and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining AMS, she spent more than 18 years at Dynetics, where she advanced through multiple leadership roles.
Williams currently serves as chair of the AMS ESOP Advisory Committee. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Magen Honey, Enterprise Controller
As enterprise controller, Honey oversees the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, government contract accounting compliance and financial close processes. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance and operational excellence while supporting AMS’ continued growth.
Honey joined AMS in 2024 as a senior accountant and was promoted to assistant controller before assuming her current role. During her tenure, she has helped strengthen financial operations through process improvements, regulatory compliance and financial oversight.
Prior to joining AMS, she held accounting and financial leadership positions at 5-D Systems, Dynetics and O’Neal Industries. Honey brings more than a decade of accounting and financial management experience to the role.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Auburn University.
