HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Sept. 8, 2025 – Aviation & Missile Solutions (AMS) played a key role in supporting a successful flight test of the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (PAC-3 MSE). This critical flight test demonstrated enhanced capabilities of the PAC-3 MSE interceptor, designed to defeat evolving threats with greater range and maneuverability.

“This effort was done directly for the U.S. government and was funded by Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS). We’ve been supporting the PAC-3 program by providing systems engineering support, algorithm expertise, modeling and simulation capabilities and hardware test assets for decades,” said Steve Cross, Weapon System Technologies manager.

AMS supported all stages of this flight test, including the development of capabilities tested, pre-flight predictions and analysis, test bed radar support and post-flight test analysis. The success of this flight test demonstrates the continued evolution of the PAC-3 MSE and its ability to stay in front of evolving threats.

The PAC-3 MSE continues to demonstrate its effectiveness as a combat-proven interceptor and a vital component of the PATRIOT air and missile defense system. This successful flight test underscores AMS’s commitment to advancing missile defense capabilities and delivering engineering solutions in support of national defense.
