Jennifer Bernhard is the director of contracts for AMS, a role she has held since the company’s inception in January 2022. Along with her team, she negotiates and manages all AMS contracts and subcontracts, reviews and develops proposals and associated documentation, and negotiates nondisclosure and teaming agreements.

Prior to joining AMS, Bernhard spent 11 years at Dynetics (now Leidos) as a program management analyst and section manager. There, she served in a multifaceted operations and program support role, contributing to program management, supply chain initiatives and business system controls while supporting critical defense programs. She worked closely with technical teams to ensure contract compliance and also served as a task order administrator. Additionally, she supported procurement activities, including purchase requisitions and documentation, managed contracts and subcontracts, and contributed to budget planning and fund execution analysis.

Bernhard earned a bachelor’s degree in management with a concentration in human resources from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
