Magen Honey serves as enterprise controller for AMS. In this role, she oversees accounting operations, timely financial close processes, financial reporting and government contracting compliance.

Honey brings more than a decade of accounting and financial management experience supporting the defense and manufacturing industries. Since joining AMS in 2024, she has played a key role in strengthening the company’s financial operations, including leading monthly and annual financial close activities, overseeing daily accounting functions, managing government contract compliance and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and reporting.

Before joining AMS, Honey served in finance and accounting roles at 5-D Systems, a Kratos company where she managed corporate financial reporting, government contract accounting and annual incurred cost submissions. She previously held an accounting management role with Dynetics, where she supported the divestiture of AMS and strengthened her expertise in financial operations, accounting processes and business transitions.

Earlier in her career, she led financial and operational audit initiatives at O’Neal Industries, building a strong foundation in compliance, operational workflows and executive-level communication.

Honey served in the Birmingham chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors and served in other leadership capacities in the region. She continues to support AMS through a commitment to financial integrity, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Auburn University.
